This 17th installment of the "Web Industry Evolution Practical Course" is aimed at young to mid-career web directors . We will have Mio Nakai and Ga-Ga, who have a wealth of experience as web directors , as guests and will talk about the points and mindsets they focus on in client work.

In this interview just before the event, we spoke to the two about how they met and what they keep in mind when working with clients.

Mio Nakai
Mio Nakai,

Born in 1984. After working as a DTP designer, he designed print media before moving to the web. After working as a web designer , he is currently working in direction (7th year). He is skilled in designing and renovating websites from a marketing perspective based on persona and customer journey design and access analysis.
He became a freelancer in June 2019, and mainly works full-time, but also personally directs the creation of new services and cooperates in launching web production departments. In addition, as a private activity, he has been a member of the Japan Direction Association since 2018. He is a lecturer, promotes meetup planning, and works as a seminar staff member.

Web Director

Born in 1984. After working as an SES engineer, a nightlife salesman, a club event staff member, and a web director, salesperson, and web team manager at a sales company, he is now in charge of launching a web division at a systems development company. He handles a wide range of roles, including web director, corporate sales, PM, vendor selection, and consulting with presidents of small and medium-sized companies, but he strongly believes that his main job is web director. With the motto of "Ask me anything," he has a wide range of clients and achievements, from sole proprietors, startups, small and medium-sized companies, various organizations and institutions, to large corporations, and is sometimes asked to consult on sales strategies, recruitment, and training, as well as web production and development. Based on the question of "what to make for what purpose," he excels at consistent production and development, from research, strategy planning, planning, and design to after-sales follow-up after delivery, and if necessary, he is frank and aggressive belgium phone number data in proposing "the best thing" to even customers.

-- This is Nakai's third time speaking at the Web Industry Evolution Forum, and Ga-Ga's first time. Could you tell us about Ga-Ga's career so far?

Gaaga: I worked as an SES engineer from the age of 19 to 21, but then I had various jobs, including working as a club event staff member, and left the IT industry for a while. After getting married, giving birth and getting divorced, I started working at my previous IT consulting company when I was 31.

In my previous job, I was part of a team that produced websites and developed business systems, and I
