knowledge is one thing, because you won't hire someone who has just entered the job market and wants to learn it for expert positions. However, this comes with time. More important are skills such as teamwork, communication, openness to change. In my HR department, everyday life is a team game, so you have to get along with each other, be communicative. In addition, openness, willingness to learn, help others and a positive attitude. A lot happens when working with people and even if someone is a genius, but is very closed to cooperation, they won't last long in the team and in this job. Communication is almost the most important thing, because if you don't communicate, you stand still - in many aspects.
When you are looking for a job, the engineer data
will to act is important. Don't be afraid - although, of course, everyone is afraid. Start with small steps. When I entered the job market, I started with an internship at the employment office. I think it is worth taking a risk and doing such internships, because 3 months in my opinion is enough to find out if a given department, position is for you. If you don't take a risk, it is possible that you will be unhappy for the rest of your life, and I can't imagine feeling bad in a given workplace for the rest of your life.
TALENT DAYS: Were these bold decisions that allowed you to get to where you are now? What else do you think determines success?
PATRYCJA: Yes, I owe everything to myself and the courage to take risks. To achieve your successes you have to be self-confident, know your worth and reach for what you simply want from life. It is so simple, but at the same time so difficult.
When I was 22, I started working in HR and many people accused me, because of my age, that I would not cope in this area, but I showed others and myself - it is possible. You just have to want it! I was afraid that it would not work out, that I would not acclimatize to work, or that I would not get along with a new team. There is always fear when you go to a new place and it is normal, you leave your comfort zone, but you have to take risks, because those who do not take risks, do not drink champagne.
TALENT DAYS: Have you ever had the feeling that you were wasting your time in a given place and regretted some career decisions?
PATRYCJA: As a rule, I try not to regret anything. I draw conclusions from every situation, behavior and place. Sometimes they are positive, sometimes negative, but I don't want to regret it because I think that if I turned back time, I would do exactly the same. I left different companies for different reasons, but it didn't discourage me from continuing my search. This is one of the stages of our lives, so I don't regret anything.
TALENT DAYS: Your approach can inspire many people to boldly reach for their dreams. Thank you for a wonderful conversation and a big dose of motivation!
